Accessibility.

Built to be usable.

How we build for people using assistive technology, and what to do when we get it wrong.

01

Our commitment

We are building Karos Cloud to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA, and this website to the same standard. Accessibility is treated as a product requirement, not a remediation task — it is specified alongside behaviour, not added afterwards.

02

Where we stand

This site and the platform are assessed against WCAG 2.2 AA by our own team. We have not yet commissioned a third-party audit. We will publish the result when we have, including anything it finds.

03

Colour and contrast

Body text meets or exceeds a 4.5:1 contrast ratio against its background, and large text 3:1. Meaning is never carried by colour alone — status is always accompanied by a label, and the active navigation item changes weight as well as colour.

04

Keyboard

Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, in a logical order. Focus is always visible. No component traps focus.

05

Screen readers

Headings follow a correct hierarchy. Images carry alternative text or are marked decorative. Form fields have persistent labels rather than placeholder-only prompts, and errors are announced.

06

Motion

Transitions are short and functional. Nothing auto-plays, flashes or moves continuously. Where motion is used, it respects the reduced-motion preference set in your operating system.

07

Known limitations

The stepped carousel on the home page requires interaction to reach later content; the same information is available in the text beneath it. Wide comparison tables scroll horizontally on small screens. Both are on the list to improve.

08

Inside the platform

Karos Cloud inherits the same standards. Role-based views change what a person sees, never how accessible it is. Karos AI output is text-first and readable by assistive technology.

Tell us where we fall short

If any part of this site or the platform is difficult to use, write to [email protected]. Describe what you were trying to do and what got in the way. We aim to respond within five business days and will tell you what we intend to do and when.

Formal feedback

Cloudlit Tech Inc. is subject to the Accessible Canada Act. If our response does not resolve the issue, you may escalate it through the process described in that Act.
